Although it's not necessarily beautiful, lichen has a romantic story to tell. It is a complex organism formed by a symbiotic relationship between fungus and algae. Together they can live thousands of years and continuously branch, cover, and grow inside entire walls, rocks, trees, and just about any other surface. In fact, nearly 6% of our planet is covered in it, in all climates and terrains above sea level.

Handdyed and imported from Indonesia, this bandana is named for the color of LICHEN, but also its incredible story of teamwork, diversity, and growth - may it inspire you and your pup the same way!
